In principle, the candidate's first-choice major shall be the same as or similar to the receiving major, or the preliminary examination subjects shall be the same as or similar to those of the receiving major.
Article 60 Candidates who first apply for the following majors (or special programs) shall abide by relevant transfer requirements.
(1) If candidates transfer between preferential majors and non-preferential majors, their preliminary examination scores shall all meet the national score line for non-preferential majors under the discipline category of their first-choice major in the receiving region.
Candidates transferring among engineering preferential majors or among education preferential majors shall comply with the national score line for such preferential majors.
(2) Candidates applying for the seven professional degrees including Business Administration, Public Administration, Accounting, Tourism Management, Library and Information Science, Engineering Management and Auditing may apply for mutual transfer on the premise that they meet the admission requirements of the receiving major and their preliminary examination scores simultaneously reach the national score lines of both the original major and the receiving major in the receiving region, but they shall not transfer to other majors; candidates applying for other majors shall not transfer to these seven professional degrees.
(3) Candidates applying for the Program for Retired College Student Soldiers who apply to transfer to the general program shall have their preliminary examination scores reach the national score line of the discipline category to which the relevant major in the receiving region belongs. (4) Each enrollment institution independently determines and announces the score requirements for accepting transfer applications of clinical medicine professional degree candidates from other institutions. The Ministry of Education sets the basic score requirements for the preliminary examination of clinical medicine professional degrees as the basic score standard for candidates applying for clinical medicine professional degrees to transfer to other disciplines and majors.
Candidates applying for clinical medicine professional degrees may transfer to other disciplines and majors in accordance with relevant policies, while candidates applying for other disciplines and majors (including academic degrees in medicine) shall not transfer to clinical medicine professional degrees.

II. Transfer Intention Collection System and Transfer Service System
After confirming that they meet the transfer qualifications and have the transfer intention, candidates need to operate through the transfer-related systems on China Graduate Admission Information Network. There are two essentially different systems here: the Transfer Intention Collection System and the Transfer Service System.
【Difference 1】
The opening time is different. The Transfer Intention Collection System opens earlier than the Transfer Service System. Within 24 hours after the Transfer Service System is opened, candidates may convert their transfer intentions into transfer volunteers in the Transfer Service System on the premise of meeting relevant conditions. The function of converting intentions to transfer volunteers will be closed 24 hours after the Transfer Service System opens.
【Difference 2】
Up to 10 parallel transfer intentions can be submitted in the Transfer Intention Collection System, while a maximum of 3 transfer volunteers can be submitted in the Transfer Service System. Candidates can convert at most 3 transfer intentions into transfer volunteers.
